I think you mixed up 'breed' with 'breathe' in your second sentence; however, reading as though that wasn't a mistake was oddly amusing :)

That's exactly what I'm going for. I've done it a few times unintentionally and ended up covering a half mile or so without noticing - I'd love to hone that ability so I can do it whenever I want and for however long I choose.
Excellent timing - I've been interested in learning to meditate while running. Now that the weather's warming up, I'm ready to have a go at it. Any tips for meditation while on the move?
That's quite the response. Since my children will undoubtedly be ginger, your basement scenario is appealing.
I like that last line a lot. We've agreed to do a vegan day and vegetarian day each week - maybe the other days it'll be as simple as a giant salad and whatever fruit & veggies are in season as the animal-free options.
Any tips on raising kids when you and your spouse have different dietary views?
I'm a runner, my wife is not. She just recently (a week ago) decided she wanted to run a 5k; she'd ask if she wanted my help, so I'm doing my best to stay quiet. I condensed all the advice I can think of into these 3 tips for her:
Minnesota winters are very discouraging to runners. We've had several days with windchills below -10F, many sidewalks are still covered in packed snow/ice, and it'll be dark by 6. I still go out and run every day, but that's mostly because I'm nuts. And my dogs love it.
I used to have half a cup a day on weekdays and 2-3 on weekends until I broke my carafe - now it's a cup of tea every day. I've found I don't have any need for the caffeine, I just like having a warm, good smelling beverage in the morning. That 2-3 cups was enough to make me noticeably dehydrated so I feel a lot…
We use iTunes home sharing along with the Remote app to do just that.
Then it's solved; I won't be stopping at Target on the way home to get deoderant.
You can also do the reverse - add a liquid binder to powdered/confectioners sugar, dry (in the oven), and screen to make DIY granulated sugar.
I was going to replace my 202k mile Civic hatchback with a Fit this spring, but this makes it hard to justify sticking with Honda. Unless we see a Fit Si this spring, it looks like I'll be making the switch to Ford.
Our local Whole Foods gives a 10 cent per bag discount when you bring your own, which is pretty nice of them. I kept forgetting to bring bags with, so I just put a stack of 4-5 in the trunk of my car so they're always with me.
I used Mathematica in college for equation-heavy engineering classes. I could type it faster than I can write, plus it's copy/paste-able and can make tables and graphs instantly.
What are the requirements for the second gen to be hackable? We have two, so this could be a fun weekend project.
Strange that the Thunderbolt display didn't get an update as well.
Was there any mention of this coming in different colors?
That's a good one that's been happening to me recently. I moved our TV to a switched outlet and that seems to have solved the problem for now. It's too bad you can't remotely lock a TV like you can with phones/tablets/computers.
Depending on what they considered exercise, walking, doing yardwork, etc. might count towards that hour.
