I know how you feel. 25 is one of the first milestone ages you reach where you're no longer a kid. I'm that very age myself right now, and occasionally I have moments where I realize I'm actually getting older, and that eventually I will be an Old Person.
For twenty five consecutive years, every lethal thing in the universe has failed to kill you. Congratulations! May you outwit death for many more years to come!
Did I miss Ultimate Mario Kart 3?
Now that you've pointed it out, that 3 is starting to make me want a Happy Meal.
But...there wasn't any dialogue in Brawl. That is, unless you count Snake and Team Star Fox's dialogue, which (in my opinion) sounded just fine for what they were supposed to be.
This is a cool idea and all, but I honestly can't get excited for this thing as long as they're saying it'll only support one controller. It's a cool technology, but multiplayer loses a lot of its appeal if you have to pick and choose which player gets the "good" controller.
People are talking about how the next-gen Sony and MS machines will be more powerful than the Wii U. But really, I don't see how that undermines the Wii U's potential as a damn good system. It's going to have Mario, Zelda, Metroid, et cetera in HD, so regardless of whether or not the competitors' machines have more…
I've been playing with my 3DS quite a bit lately, especially since Nintendo handed out a few freebies plus all those trailers. While it was the Nintendo fanboy in me that bought the machine Day One, the hardcore gamer in me is starting to think that it's a pretty damn good machine. Zelda, Metal Gear and Kid Icarus…
"Addicting", regardless of whether the dictionary recognizes it, could be considered either a verb or an adjective. If it's describing an action ("This game has been addicting lots of players lately"), it's a verb. If it's being used as a descriptor of the game itself ("I find this game to be thoroughly addicting"),…
I'm hoping for the same thing. I certainly hope they still offer an option to play using the classic red & black, though. I can't imagine Teleroboxer or VB Wario Land any other way.
It's been confirmed for a while now that it will include Master Quest.
Minor spoiler alert?
Let's talk about storylines in fighting games:
Fantastic. I'm on a Japanese account, so this is useless to me. I'll probably start it up on my alternate NA account just to mess around with it, but I'd rather be able to actually get trophies and use my unlocked content.
If he feels the need to report them, then clearly they affect him by offending him.
While I'm looking forward to doing some shopping on there and having a web browser available, there's still one glaring omission on the main screen of my 3DS:
Yes, pirates can play those games by using a properly-patched ROM. The games in question, however, were on original DS cards, which means they were almost certainly not patched.
I'm surprised not to see Street Fighter II on there. I'd say in an exhibit about the medium of video games, it would be an obvious choice to include the game that popularized an entire genre.
