Kano looks like a cross between Luke Skywalker and Chewbacca.

@the7k: What do you mean, "Star Wars-esque plots?"

@Tanneseph: Thankfully, the M rating does not claim to certify that the contents of the game are "mature". (After all, the T rating doesn't signify that the game is a teenager :P)

@TheContender: It's not just you. Games these days are easier. It's making us soft.

@leno40: My fifth grade was spent playing Final Fantasy VI. It was the second serious RPG I played through (FFIV being the first), and god damn did it make an impression.

One thing I think is interesting here is the mention of "casual" players. Notice how much of a different connotation it has in this context.

So then, this is more or less what you'd get if you were playing the original GBA cart on the GameCube's GBA player.

@n00b_pwner: Watashi wa, zombie who talk rike ninja. You honor me with brains kudasai.

Wait... what's the question?

Well, I guess I'm moving to Japan.

Those screenshots really grabbed my attention. I got pretty excited about the game until I read the part about "No PS3". Come on, guys!

@aririn: Play Harvey Birdman for Wii until you can get your Phoenix fix. It's made by Capcom and has the same gameplay as Phoenix Wright, and it's surprisingly fun.

@FiveSpeed: Sonic and Mega Man have both existed in 2.5D, with pretty decent results.

@fearing: That's the impression I got from watching the original Other M trailer. Some portions are clearly 2D gameplay, and others (such as the scenes viewed from Samus' point of view) look almost like an on-rails style, where the player is only responsible for aiming, and not navigating Samus in full 3D.

@Nintenboy01: You're looking for Metroid 5, then. That is to say, another entry into the "main" Metroid series. Other M may end up being just that, considering how little we know about it thus far.

@Jaems: Local multi on that game was a blast, if you got a good handful of players together.

@synapticflow: Well, the talking animals would end up there anyway, at least if you count the Chozo.

While I'd be perfectly happy to get a new first-person Metroid, I think what all the Metroid fans really want is a new 2D game in the series.

@Tenacious_Z: Cambridge is a fun store. I've got a couple buddies over there.
