Right, Miss Tessmacher.

Right, Miss Tessmacher.

You would spend $25 (or more) on a specialized appliance that does the same thing as a $10 skillet, or a toaster that you probably already have on your kitchen counter. What’s wrong with you?

Um, not sure I get the point. You can accomplish the same thing with a regular skillet, and an old hardcover book. Or is there some metaphysical “experience” of making a sandwich on a griddle that I’m missing here?

Considering that Tifa from the actual game looks like this, I think he gets a pass.

You should see the mess from past years, with fully 100,000 fewer people attending.

I don’t understand why people would resort to that. You were just the messenger, yet they were responding like Islamic fundamentalists would if you set fire to their holy book.

Hype is all it has been, for 3 years now and counting. Believe me I want this game to happen and I want it to be as great as it sounds. But Hello Games started the hype machine about 3 years too early, and now people have grown weary (and suspicious) of it.

Pretty much what I have been saying all along. They started the hype train about 3 years too soon for this game. They should take a hint from Bethesda and Rockstar when it comes to pre-launch publicity.

Yeah I will probably be skipping it. I can tell even from the (incessant) commercials, that it is basically what the Lord Of The Rings films would have been if Zack Snyder had been in charge.

I don’t dislike them, but it has in fact been nearly 20 years since the original came out. There are too many good games out there from this century, for me to be going backward now.

To be clear, I was not a fan of Fallout 1 & 2 (when those games hit I was too deep into Halo and Unreal Tournament to take notice). I mainly got Fallout 3 because I have been a longtime fan of Bethesda’s other property (the Elder Scrolls universe), and knew that game leveraged tech they developed for Elder Scrolls IV:

I liked Fallout 4 better than 3 in some important respects. Chief among them: NO LEVEL CAP. That hard level 25 cap (30 if you bought the expansions) in Fallout 3 was crap. Left far too many good perks on the table.

I don’t see Heimdall anywhere.

True. And even in this country, safety agencies came AFTER cars were already fairly common (and had major safety issues for decades prior).

That’s gonna be a complete madhouse. LA Live is just across the street from Staples Center, which is next door to the LA Convention Center where E3 is held.

You’re forgetting one: no accountability. People in these places normally don’t/can’t sue car manufacturers for negligence, and there is no National Transportation Safety Board to enforce safety standards.

Those aren’t the options I recall getting whenever Whats-his-nuts ambushes me.

That’s how rich people stay rich. Get others to pay for their shit.

Fallout 3 and Doom 3 BFG Edition both play fine. Load times aren’t much different from the X360.

I became a lifelong John Cho fan after that time he peed on Stifler.
