@tucker augie'ben'doggy: They don't - people who JB their phones will claim anything... like Linux people claiming they can run Dragon Age under WiNE across 4 screens while compiling 2048-bit cypher codes 'in-memory' with only 4MBs of RAM and a Voodoo banshee

Even on my 3Gs, I've noticed the occasional judder coming out of mail when a lot of things have been in memory (camera, messages, ESPN World Cup 2010 app and Pandora) the animation is slightly jerky coming out of the Mail app. If you switch back a few times, it goes away, but you can catch it out.

Download choked a little bit (because I was VPNing to work desktop) but the whole thing took justa sniff under 30 mins. I backed up this morning though, so that saved a couple of mins.

Why is Skye not ready? Didn't they demo this back in March?

@draper3000: Looks nice... free advertising on Giz, what a wonder.

Yes it was a bit stupid that you could upload a video from your iPhone and then not watch it... doh.

I guess it's popular then?

@benztech55amg: But it can't play my iTunes videos (DRMed) and I have a LOT of them (I spend what I used to spend on cable on iTunes).

They should simply ban cars.

My issue with this thing, aside from the price, is that you can't really use it as a media player. No apps exist that can play iTunes content bought from the iTunes video store, and Front Row is a pile of shit.

@baristabrawl: Well there are 10,000 native apps in the store, but lets not let the facts get in the way of a jibe.

...and for my next trick, here is my calculator running Oracle 10...

Any reason they didn't show that on an actual iPad?

@alienshards: Or because there has been a new iPhone every year since 2007...

@twothefutureandbeyond: Agreed... how about wireless syncing and how about being able to use multiple computers with one device without it having a shit fit.

@telepheedian: Good point actually... even though I wasn't thinking about me.
