I think the current phrasing of the headline is wildly misleading. Iwata talking about a greater emphasis on cross-compatibility of handheld and console is really not tantamount to Iwata saying "Our platforms should be like iOS".

Yup, I have no clue what Evan's game is here. I just made a huge post citing all of his omissions and errors. Normally I love his stuff as it's well researched but this review definitely was not. Going for the throat immediately with the free2play system and not stating at the very start that this is a $20…
Evan, normally I love your reviews but you did a severe injustice to KI with this. You missed out on key things.
Why is only the $40 version mentioned and not the $20 version which also gives you all the characters. Got to completely agree with you here. I see the advantage of dedicated servers for games but companies could do that now if they wanted. The drivertar again is a cool idea (reminds me of ghosts for older racing games but a bit more advanced) but again it's nothing amazing. It's cool but not "I need to play this game…
I know this will probably be written off as some generic "nerd-rage" post, but I honestly feel like they've sort of ruined the allure of Mewtwo with this.
Well, there goes three of the best Metallica songs. Blackened still remains one of my favorite songs by the band.
ME1 was definitely hinky, on consoles anyway. It was very glitchy, there were framerate problems, and certain things that should have been fun (like riding around on planet surfaces) felt really unstable and frustrating much of the time.
I remember playing it the first time and not being impressed. It started pretty slow, and the controls were clunky. I stopped playing after traveling to the huge resort on the ice planet. It was so dull...
