I think most people are excited that there are big names behind this series. The last few iterations of this series have been pretty mediocre, so I think people are just getting hyped at the thought of this being good.
Yeah I might have sounded like a bit of a fanboy but I like all games no matter what platform and I have multiple platforms. But yeah I try not to "fight" but simply point out things, but it seemed to have the opposite effect.
Yeah I'm just comparing exclusives to exclusives. The way I see it is if you get excited about a multiplat developer making an exclusive for your console you can't get mad if someone makes an exclusive for the other console.
Yeah I sure did, I just lump exclusives together. If people are going to complain about games becoming exclusives and then get excited about games being exclusive to the platform they bought then I find that ridiculous.
They might not literally be the same, but both can be viewed as throwing money at a developer to make a game only for their console.
Everywhere I've seen so far has said this only going to be on Xbox One.
That makes sense too, but either way, both games are sequels (or spiritual successors) that don't need to be console exclusive.
Well this isn't a sequel to Demon Souls, more like a spiritual successor. It's a totally new game that could have been multiplat but Sony paid them off. Much like Tomb Raider could have been multiplat but MS paid them off.
Why not? This isn't a sequel to Demon Souls, this is a new game from a developer who released their games on Xbox and PC the last two games, why couldn't they have made this multiplat? Well that's because Sony paid them to make this game exclusive, much like Tomb Raider. And hell, Tomb Raider started as a PS game…
There are plenty of studios that can handle making a game for two different platforms. And this isn't like 360/PS3, this current gen is more in common than people like to admit. If there's problems, the blame is on Square. I'd rather more people play and there be a chance of having technical hiccups vs console…
"OH MY GOD BOYCOTT FROMSOFT AND SONY THEIR GAMES ARENT COMING TO XBOX ONE OR PC THIS IS BS HOW COULD YOU DO THIS DARK SOULS WAS MY FAV ON PC AND XBOX WOW BOYCOTT EVERYTHING!"
Why would you be mad that more people get to play a game?
Like I said, it's in your head. You can choose to think that they're girl toys when really, no one in the trailer suggested that. It's due to that cultured conditioning that you think that. So in the society I live in, I choose not to think that, as do many others.
Also, there's only a gender divide if you put one there. It's cute toys vs. military toys. There's no mention of girls vs boys or gender at all. It's in your head. So stop with the BS and stop taking every opportune chance to make this an issue.
I was hoping for a little more than what I saw in the trailer. Looks like it would be fun to mix together different toy groups, but if it's the same things we did in the first two games, I don't think it would hold my attention for long. I think it would be cool if they added more RTS elements to control your toys as…
Well to be fair the game doesn't say girl toys vs. boy toys. It's the Germans from the first game and a bunch of cute rainbow toys. It's all in your head if you see it as girls vs. boys.
I think you overestimate the amount of gamers that would use these services enough to change the entire industry like that. There is still a huge market for people who just want to buy a $60 game upfront. It's also ironic that you defend PS+ when there are tons of people who don't even buy games anymore, they just…
I think people are just worried this will end up being the only method of playing games, which is stupid. This is an alternative method to playing games, no one is forcing anybody to use this service. Netflix, Hulu, iTunes, and Pandora aren't killing their respective industries, this won't either.
I think we're at a point where CoD is no longer the "inspiration" but the "constant." As we all know, CoD 4 was a huge game changer for better or worse, and it seemed like every FPS wanted to replicate CoD. Now it's at the point where we've started see this series adopt many things from other shooters and no longer…
