Except the trailer show the Villager on the WiiU. Sakurai said both systems will have all the characters, but each platform will have some exclusive stages. The 3DS showed off a Spirit Tracks and Animal Crossing:NL stage separate from the WiiU.

They'll probably add some new pokemon from X/Y for extra promotion of the games. My money's on that new Mewtwo form.
They might as well just make a WiiU pokemon game.
It's a weird thing, considering you'll be able to trade-in Ubisoft (and every other companies) games available on every other platform.
Except Steam has an offline mode, whereas Xbox One has a "1-hour offline mode." Any games you've installed on your computer with disks can also be played offline unlike XB1.
"dumb ass"
Everytime I see this game... it's a new game.
I really like that they're making each version different. In the trailer I saw a cool Spirit Tracks level as well as a Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing level. Sakurai said awhile back that we might be able to customize characters on the 3DS because it's a more personal experience, and then bring them over to the WiiU…
Remember all fun we had with core Kinect games?... Oh wait, we didn't.
Or just day 1 sales. I really don't think the launch is going to be smooth. And they really need it to be because if day 1 buyers can't play, that will be the biggest shitstorm ever.
Yeah they always do it. The were the first ones to invest in consumer tablets before it was a thing, but no one jumped on it. Years later after the iPhone, the iPad is the biggest thing and now they're playing catch-up. This might not be a bad idea if A.) There wasn't so many requirements. They should just give people…
Yeah I can see it not being easy, but this is a time where a majority of the gaming community is actually pissed off and wants to see them fail. There might be a large amount of people trying to hurt them. I guess we'll see later this year.
Idk, people always find a way. And if it takes that many servers to keep it running, just taking down a portion of them might do some damage. If it causes people to be unable to play, there will be outrage.
Thank god they updated the melee combat. It was garbage in the first two. Now it looks satisfying and more towards other brawler games like DMC.
I feel like hackers will come along and disrupt the servers so no one can play, and then post online "See what happens when you make online connection a requirement?"
The Ghost Recon Alpha short film is pretty good. It was a tie-in to Future Soldier.
I was thinking Dark Samus or SAX. Yeah they're technically both Samus, but they could have different movesets. Or they could just replace Samus all together with them to change things up. You could also make the Space Pirate as a character.
Brawl had Mr Game and Watch and R.O.B.B. which are out of place throwbacks to classic Nintendo.
Yeah I said the same thing to another commentor. She's a funny gag character to unlock, not much more.
