Correct, the devs confirmed the Ultra setting is not activated unless you install the texture pack. When the Ultra texture pack is installed, the game renders at 4k and is then downsampled to 1080p. Without the Ultra texture pack, the downsampling is not activated.
No, the developers have confirmed that the Ultra setting is exactly the same as the High setting unless you install the Ultra textures. It uses the Ultra texture pack to render the game at 4k and then downsample to 1080p. Without the texture pack, the downsampling is not activated.
Exactly, the developers have already confirmed that unless you install the Ultra texture pack, the High setting is exactly the same as Ultra setting.
I've been playing the backer beta and I think this is good news. It's still quite rough around the edges.
Yes, read a few more reviews and everyone seems to be impressed with this emergent gameplay feature.
Thanks for this brilliant review, Yannick. The nemesis system sounded ambitious in the developer videos, but I was concerned about whether they could actually pull it off. Sounds like they managed to do just that.
So is this going to be as demanding as BF4 since it's using Frostbite 3? Do I need to upgrade my PC?

Their planned exclusive future games are going to do rather poorly as well. How many copies of Halo can you possibly hope to sell if there are only 2,000 people in all of Japan who even own the console?
Are they turning yellow due to being in the sunlight, or from people's sweaty palms? (Yuck!)
5th edition Imma let you finish, but the 1st edition AD&D was the best edition OF ALL TIME. These books that came after were pure money grabs. #sellout #neversettle #gmos #hashtag
Oh, is he the same Snake that was the protagonist of the NES version?
I imagine it will be roughly the same engine. The Creation Kit already has everything they need for Fallout 4, and it's easy to iterate on which is why Skyrim is so easy to mod.
Maybe they should have hired the folks who made the Nuka Break videos.
You're thinking of Tarth. That's where Brienne is from. People mix them up all the time =P
Oh I see, sorry, I'm not too familiar with this game series - Snake is the name of the protagonist, right? In the video they just call him Boss.
Here you go:
Been waiting a long time for this one!
