@PilgrimSoul: no you're mixing up two different points i was making. But the take-away was supposed to be that not too many ills in society are blamed on "patriarchy" when there are other societal cosntructs to blame for problems that would exist no matter which sex is considered to be in control.
@PilgrimSoul: I doubt a true egalitarian form of societal structure would have a different result. These issues aren't absent or, as far as i know, lessened im matriarchal societies. That's because you're right, it is culture and there's soemthing in matriarchal socieites thus far that parallels patriarchal ones. So…
