@FreudRage: what's most annoying about that is that is's so common and it's not even correct. Should be "For all intents and purposes".

try arguing with someone who starts every new statment with "and you know what?"

@CrossWord: magical decorating powers - heh heh

Joe Lieberman deserves all whatever bad fallout he gets. I understand crossing party lines to support your friend, but not being a vicious dick about it.

No Jersey jokes? What snark-less website am I on?

No. My anecdotal evidence from friends shows just the opposite. The couples who move in together end up married, even when they don't get along. If they don't get along they feel soem inertia from living together and seem to need some cataclysmic event to break up. So without that disaster they do the "inevitable" and

@JinxyMcDeath: to the last point on McCain's health, yes since she's been vilified by both the left and the right.

CNN actually did a story on her a few weeks ago before Obama even mentioned her, because she was voting early and they cover the whole "all she's seen" angle. I wonder if the Obama camp found her through that. I'm gonna look for a link.

@bigazzkid: you mean colors, not sizes. Not to be the writing police....

@UglyBroomstick: yes, thought the same thing. Even when a reporter said in a follow up "but the report DID say youviolated ethics standards" she repaeated her assertion that she was vindicated.

Did the backwards B (done in a mirror) tip them off?

@staryberry: that live in the parts of the country that aren't pro-America.
