Seriously. Would it be that much trouble to produce a limited amount of 6-speed manual versions? I mean, they could just offer it on the SRT, but nooooo.... This makes me have the same reaction when I go window shopping for used E63 wagons: "It's cool, but it would be AWESOME with a manual".

Photobucket is giving me fits right now, but I'm going old school... Porsche Fuchs and C2 Corvette knock-offs.

Been looking around to try and find out how this is different from every other 6.4L (392ci) Charger. Loud paint and silly stripe package?

Boy, that's hella-flush. The bro-ness oozing from that vehicle is hurting my brain. Though, I can't tell if my pain is coming from the wheels and stance or the lingering effects of Drakkar Noir/Axe body spray that inevitably surrounds that vehicle like a deathly fog.

I've seen this exercise before...

Wanted to see more E30, less Camaro.

Stock Elise sounds like a... Celica.

Heretic!

A Cummins guy once put it to me this way: V8 turbodiesels sound like a handful of dimes tossed in a dryer; A Cummins is like a handful of half-dollars thrown in a dryer.

Do these new motors in the BRZ still have the unequal length exhaust manifolds that cause the BUB-bub-bub-BUB-bub-bub exhaust noise at idle?

Do the new BMWs with the fake engine noises count? I suppose it makes sense to add as much insulation/sound deadening as possible on the standard models, but if you're buying the M version, wouldn't it stand to reason that you're probably not opposed to a little grunt when you step on the gas?

It's what I mentioned in my post above. Sequential manuals (because race car) operate that way - pull back to upshift, forward to down shift.

Exactly my first thought. SXSW attracts a lot of out of towners. Kodiak Brown is an awesome color. I think the Vincent Vega rule applies, no matter what you think of someone else's ride.

Not nearly as effective as speed holes.

On the other hand, my wife's beater car is a '99 Taurus, and that turn signal is so damn loud, I have to shut it off if I'm in a lane waiting to turn left at a light.

That's sexay, but I'll never be able to afford a car with a proper gated shifter. I thought about getting one back in the day for my NB Miata, but all the ones I saw looked kind of silly and poseur-ish.

James May agrees.

Agreed, although I can see how someone could debate this. I've driven cars with sequential gearboxes before (straight cut whine FTW!), but such a low percentage of drivers have had that experience.

Yes, I agree he doesn't seem like the most skilled rider. The vehicle that rear-ended him was absolutely at fault, but I hope this rider re-thinks his "hugging the curb" technique. It's not a good way to make sure you're seen. Imagine someone is parallel to the cop in the next lane. I can easily imagine how they could

This has to be due to simple ignorance of an anomaly. The guy probably got there early in the morning or late at night, before other vehicles populated the curb. I'm not familiar with this street; are there any signs indicating that you are supposed to park perpendicular here?
