Well, her prefers not to see black people...he would like to be blind to them.

Donald Trump being race blind is an interesting concept considering he was sued by the DOJ for violating the fair housing act of 1968 by refusing rentals to black people.

Republicants are so gullible— they spend 23 hours a day denying that a wage gap exists, but as soon as Ivanka Trump admits there is one, THEN they cheer like they’ve acknowledged it all along.

The most telling part of the whole week for me was Paul Manafort’s interview on MSNBC in which he said that women are concerned that their husbands can’t afford to pay the family bills. In 2016, this is why he said women will vote for Trump.

Check the tweet: she isn’t a millennial, she’s a millennium. Ivanka is 1000 years; she’s like the Willenium, but blonder.

No. I’ve yet to see any evidence to the contrary.

On what planet is Ivanka representative of millenials? What common issues has she experienced?

Is it wrong that I assume every scientologist is a moron?

I went to the first Lollapalooza in 91(?) and I managed to keep it together.

The term “homeschooling” often conjures up images of Christian conservatives isolating their ten children from the secular education found in public schools, teaching “traditional values” at the kitchen table.

We’re already putting aside concerns about the real world looooong before we worry about things like motivation to learn and holding an actual job in this fantasy world of free spirited home schooling outside the realities of school, society, work, whatever.

Ha ha. Normal parents don’t homeschool. Stay at home parents do to justify their existence.

A bunch of supervised field trips to various museums and nature trails with a bunch of clingy moms around isn’t remotely the same in terms of developing social skills as actually being largely on your own with your peers every day and having to learn to form and maintain social relationships. Which is why so many

Yeah, but I’m going to guess you also don’t work for your mom and spend 90% of your time interacting with and taking direction from her either.

As my dad used to say "I see why some animals eat their young."

I could be wrong, but to me this article makes it sound like it’s almost easy to instill intrinsic motivation in a child to want to learn. That some sort of reward or motivation system shouldn’t be necessary.

Counterpoint: I have never met a homeschooled kid that wasn’t weird or socially awkward. Taking them out for play encounters and day trip excursions isn’t the same as learning how to interact with their peers on a daily basis. Learning how to be functional in society is almost more valuable than the actual knowledge

You're damn right it's convenient that your Father is able and willing to help you with the other children. An inconvenient truth is that a lot of us don't have that option.

I could never homeschool because my kids aren’t named Rain and Skye, I prefer to vaccinate them, they have had haircuts before the age of 5, none of them have a strange food allergy and, quite frankly, both of us parents have to work.

Hooray, another bit of discourse in which “normal” equals “people with way more money than us.”
