Who cares what they look like?
Youre underestimating how quickly old white people pick up the phone to call the cops
You are seriously underestimating what black people feel afraid of.
It’s probably the “sorry I got caught” type of remorse.
Collins said in court papers she’s now remorseful for her actions.
Good. I work in DV advocacy. DV is already way under-reported.
They still won’t delete that fucking tweet though. Or specifically address that he has been cleared despite probably hundreds of calls to do so. Seems reckless.
Fuck the race of the attackers, this shit is just sad all around. Even if the attackers were Black, and purposefully killing cop, it won’t change my stand with BLM movement.
Place your bets now:
This is awful for the families and friends of the officers but it also makes me incredibly fearful — even more fearful than usual — for the safety of PoC once the police force starts to enact vengeance.
I get where you’re coming from. These last two killings really finally seemed to make things click in the minds of a lot of people who really didn’t get it before, and I was actually getting hopeful that real, positive change was coming.
I hope the shooter is a White Guy. I know that is terrible, but every time I hear of a shooting I hope the shooter is a white guy. I am sorry for the police and their families. Truly sorry. 😓
I understand your want to make sense of this but honestly your question completely flies over the reality and history of being black in America and crash lands into yet another flawed and deeply complicated issue.
None of those reasons should be punishable by death... just like drivinf with a busted tail light or selling cd’s outside of a store.
No one needs guns. No one needs guns. No one needs guns.
The difference is the killers of those police officers will be convicted.
I really hope this cop is put away for life but after the shitshow that followed Tamir Rice’s shooting, i have no faith in the legal system.
