Men who want to victimize women are smart and strategic about it. As the interviewee said above, this is the perfect job for rapists and serial killers, and they get away with it because the companies that hire them don’t care - it’s good for their bottom line to have extremely quick worker turnover.

A turnover rate like this is profitable in any industry - when people get experience, you have to pay them more. no doubt the companies love this.

Yeah, I think in this case the poor kid was just in a lot of fucked up denial. It’s tragic and awful. (And yes, I feel sympathy for her because of the terrible social pressures that would cause someone to do something that monstrous.)

Sadly, agreed. She’s a little too much of a standard “feisty” girl character / angsty teen, although she’s occasionally interesting in a whimsical way. I don’t get why everyone’s so infatuated with her.
