I notice the difference, I'm a graphics artist, but from tests many games don't, hence I don't think its such a big deal. It also depends how the game is made, if the graphics are upscaled or downscaled for the relevant resolution. As previously said, I think other factors are more important than 720 to 1080.

Yes there is a difference, but I wouldn't say it's staggering, comparing the difference between standard def vs high def is plain ridiculous.

I think you mean most games don't play at 1080p. Large majority of console games run at 720p, few do at 1080p (on PS3). 60+ fps only matter in fast paste games IMO, like driving games.

ergh what happened to the textures at the top of the building? Did they simply not load or is allot of environment like this on WiiU version?

People moaning about 720 to 1080 make me laugh, guaranteed large majority of you wouldn't even notice a difference. Only think that matters are shaders, texture resolution, lighting and 3D processing.
