With Pilot Sport Cup 2, it might even break 88 mph!

Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2!?
A DeLorean fitted with these could break the 8 minutes mark! (I'm exaggerating, but it's a bit of overkill; I'm pretty sure a real "bone stock" version with "regular" tires wouldn't even break the 9 minutes mark)

Heads will roll, literally.

"With a top speed that could go past 280 MPH in theory"

No, the Cygnet is equipped with the "Unintended acceleration" pedal

Now playing

If done well, an uneven surface can increase fuel economy.
Just like the "golf ball effect", where the dimples on the ball increase the range, compared to a plain ball.

Neutral: Subaru weather!

In Hot Fuzz, the mine does explode, at the end, when a maniac attacks the police station.
The building is blown to scrap, but all the main characters survived.

Kinja's (stupid) new image filter won't display your image (and the 1995 Toyota Camry I used in the initial post)

Let's be realist; a new driver needs something reliable, with low power, low cost maintenance and that won't incite him to "autocross" in a parking lot at 3am (and crashing in a light post).
A hand-me-down should not be a fun beater, it should be about safety and going from point A to B.
Thus, the best Hand-Me-Down car

I'd say something like the Jaguar C-X75, with twin turbines and a hybrid powertrain

You're correct, but it is still a huge gamble; if the i3 was a major flop, they would be stuck with unused and unwanted technology, and $2 billions poorer.

BMW with the i3: About $2 billions to develop the platform and powertrain of a "city car"

I'm somewhat confused by the new nose rule; I thought the tip had to be longer than the wing.

On a separate note, I'm going to start writing every new car review I do in the voice of that car itself. FOR YUTU. IT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

European Toyota looks much better than North American; Europe's Corolla has been nice for at least 2 generations, while NA is still trying to find its styling...

Toyota has more a general "fascia" look rather than just a grille; it's all about the "gaping mouth" and somewhat "aggressive" eyes (headlights)

Toyota's latest refreshed lineup has terrible fascias, but the 4Runner wins the crown of Worst Corporate Grille!

Reduce weight by 500 to 1000 lbs and lower it by about 6" and you have a winner!
