Every tests with a FR-S/BRZ we see ends like: "It's not the fastest car around the track, but it's the most fun."

The FR-S/BRZ are on Michelin Primacy HP, a grand touring tire. Switching to the PSS or PS3 would be a huge upgrade since they are both Max performance tires. (Primacy = Touring, Pilot = Performance). You would lose the "tail happy" at low speed, but gain acceleration and cornering grip.

I'd pick the FR-S with a set of grippy tires.

I know it won't look as good as the concept, but I have hopes it won't be a 2014 Impreza with a giant wing; Subaru said they want to dissociate the Impreza and the WRX, both in name and designed, so I still hold to that faint hope. :P

The mule uses a WRX STi pinned on the new platform; I am 100% sure the mule uses a different body for testing, just like Ferrari did for most of its cars, like Mercedes did for the SLS AMG, and like Jeep/Alfa Romeo did for their small SUV.
