It is indeed a war on the poor.

It’s not just a police state, but also a war on the poor. I moved from one of the highest earning zip codes in the country to one of the poorest.

People stay even longer for failure to pay whatever fees associated with why they were in jail initially. Stuff like normal court fees. Its war on the poor.

I really didn’t know this was a thing. I guess Canada doesn’t care enough about parking tickets.

Where do you live that people DON’T go to jail for unpaid parking tickets?

I have no sympathy for someone take kills themselves and takes someone else with them. You already emotionally destroy a TON of people when you do it...literally no reason to physically involve others.

Some people choose these methods because they’re either angry and trying to take others with them, or they simply take a twisted solace in not dying alone. “Go out with a bang, not a whimper” as it were.

He’s a piece of shit murderer. I can sympathize mental health issues and suicide. But there are plenty of ways to attempt suicide that do not harm others. He had no regard for the life of other humans and for that he’s a piece of shit. Just like any other murder suicide we hear on the news. 

Makes it pretty hard to have sympathy for the guy choosing to kill himself like that, when the method he chose had to include innocents. Especially when one of those innocents was a 12 year old girl, goddamn.
