far cry 2 as a whole was Meh. HOWEVER, despite a lot of hate for the mechanic, I actually loved driving with a map/satnav out - it helped immerse you in the world, specially when your hurtling through the jungle , 2s glance at the map, look up and you've not only gone off road but your now going into a roadside ditch.
