Aftermarket wheels on a used car can be expensive. I bought a 135i with these awful chrome 19s but I got a good deal and thought “eh, I will just replace them”. Turns out the dude cut the springs and installed spacers (and it still rubbed!) It cost me $4,000 to make it right.

That could be it. Maybe it's a Colorado and Utah reciprocal thing (like Utah will track me down if I don't pay my speeding tickets).

Because of infected Chipotle?

the big targets are the gnarly off-road only rigs who basically have to trailer up before entering the pavement. I got a ticket for a non-drivers side windshield crack which is probably not legal in Colorado, but common and I had not had trouble before. A friend had tires that were probably 1/2" wider than the

You know that you are going to get tickets, right? Every year they bring in extra law enforcement and pass out inspection tickets for every little violation. Not sure what about your jeep isn't up to Utah DOT standards but I am sure that they will find something.

I bet it could do Poison Spider. I have done it a few times and you don’t need massive flex or clearance or break over angles—you just need a lot of torque, maybe a decent locker and good approach and departure angles for those steep “slick” rock climbs and descents.

The jeepers will help you. The MG club would leave me and my oil-dripping, smoldering car for dead on the side of the road.

You are correct sir. Not a good looking car with the flame surfacing and the stubby proportions originally intended for the 3 then squashed.

Can you get the post office to send this without a fight? I tried to do an analysis regularly and would take the container and the letter and every single time it took 30-45 minutes. The person at the counter wouldn’t accept it, they would go find a manager who would leave to go make some calls, etc.

Good point. I see the P and the A. Were they badge engineering their ads too?

So what you’re saying is that I can buy a Ford 3.51 Cleveland?

I think that this might have been the first website I went to when I got on the internet about 20 years ago. So sad.

I remember after Columbine when the media said that one of the boys was rich and spoiled because he drove a $500 E21. Those kids had problems I can’t fathom, but owning a beat up BMW doesn’t make affluenza one of them. People just have that perception.

Yeah, answering anything with a BM logo is too easy, but there is something decadent about owning a convertible anything. I have a red 2009 135i that I paid $20,000 for and my boss gives me a hard time about “paying me too much” when he drives a new Lexus GS!

Filming location.

I had a 2001 V8 which I picked up for $22k with less than 40k miles a few years ago. The nicest car I will ever likely own, and amazing to drive for such a panzer like curb weight, but it was a money pit. Even though it was in good shape and had full records, every six to nine months there seemed to be another $750

Yeah! Why does the car suffer from worn alternator brushes? Isn't the point with a car like this partially that you will need to do work like this, probably for yourself, to make it work (both literally and figuratively)?

And he made Mexico pay for it.

Why do think that people call these cars “bulletproof” when they are obviously prone to breaking? Just not breaking via bullets?
