Contra isn’t terrible; Contra is a fantastic classic game.
I’m sure this will be posted dozens of times on this thread.
For a large contingent it HAS to be an American made bike. End of story. Many of the younger guys had dads or uncles that rode a Harley in the 1970s when it was cool (and nobody cared that they required more attention than an Italian exotic) so to them, there is only ONE motorcycle. smh...
Between my time on the East Coast and in Europe, it’s been a 50/50 split between sport bikes and Harleys. And it’s not just the “old timers” that go for the Harleys, lots of active duty guys grew up in the Midwest and so still buy into the “Made in ‘Merica” thing. (no pun)
My friends that ride and are civilian are…
That’s the point of Car Play and Auto: ask the manufacturers to put a screen in the dash for backup camera and systems monitoring while leaving the music and navigation to the smart phones? Or have I missed something?
You don’t work with/at/near active duty Military, do you?
I’m not a fan of BMW’s AWD so we ended up with a RWD X1.
This happened because BMW won’t sell a North American spec 3er touring with RWD. I’m kicking myself because I did not know that the RWD X1 had electric steering. We test drove an AWD before getting the RWD. 100% my fault for not doing my homework.
The worst level of Halo is the last level: it turns a great FPS into a crappy driving game. >_<
I just saw a white one with Heidelberg plates knocking around the Frankfurt area. It looks just as great in person as it does in pictures, only smaller IRL.
I would love for it to have about 220HP/200lbft but half the auto world thinks I’m a wimp for not wanting 375HP and the other half thinks I’m sacrilegious for asking for any more power than stock.
Feels lonely, man.
I don’t know that I’ve seen a Miata towing her come to think of it. But I have seen pictures (on the internet even) of every generation towing.
The one I saw behind the Fortwo? I have no idea, I think he was probably doing 100kph or so. I didn’t notice a speed limit sticker on the trailer, it was a small single axle.
I find it a little humorous that Mazda’s ‘gram strategy’ apparently allows for a sound tube on the intake.
Let’s get down to brass tacks: what shade of green is Mazda going to offer?
There is a green, right? Right?!?
Can you get the Bilsten suspension and Brembo brakes on the Sport? Might be worth it to get the Sport and roll your own LSD.
In the Netherlands they tow with Smart Fortwos! A Miata can handle a small trailer, no problem.
No doubt. Between this and that post about “horrible customers” that was a bunch of lame jokes told as “real stories” the quality of Jalopnik posts has really dropped.
I agree with everything except the Germany part. My experience is that drivers in Germany are, on average, better and more courteous than drivers in the US.
