Whoa, I had no idea these Preludes were that fast.

Shouldn't every new car whether hybrid or not have auto shutoff at standstill? I don't understand what's so hard about this.
god damn spooks are ruining everything.
I bet they both hi-fived and fuck-yeahed each other after the tow truck came, and went to blitz some Coronas afterwards.
Used tires are a completely valid solution. Heck, if you have even a halfway common car, at least check craigslist. You can find a full set of tires and wheels already mounted on OEM rims that someone wants to get rid of for less than the price of the tires alone, if they were new.
11.9.
Love this guy. Makes me proud to be a Stanford jackass.
I hope they keep things simple. A cerbera, a griffith, and one other newish car would do. I feel like the old designs with updated engines would still sell today.
IMO, you shouldn't feel bad at all. Before this NSA shit went down, Palantir was one of the most sought-after newer tech companies out here. My buddy who just graduated with a PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford (and really has his pick of the litter) was deciding between goog, palantir, and square.
Palantir is very well-known in SV, and there are many many other "big data" companies trying to do the same thing or do it better. Any type of mass surveillance by the government in this day and age would be stupid not to use high-level data munching technology, and Palantir is one (the top?) vendor for this type of…
Ayinger makes incredible brew.
It's not even far off from my 1990 VW 16v: 2.0L, 134hp.
Remember this?
I always wondered about the safety of wooden steering wheels during an accident, especially without a helmet. Seems like a Don Cheadle high potentiality for spearing yourself in the face.
Yes, and leave it there for another 2 days. I never understood it either.
I read this entire article, and didn't intend to at first. Great writing.
I know it will be another FWD econo, but I'm curious what kind of mess regular people would make inside a Miata. Would it spin out all over? Or give us more understeer than we expect?
Modern MTs are so easy though - everything after maybe '95 is smooth and light, practically effortless. I had an 88 VW with a very heavy cable clutch, floppy shifter, and no power steering, and I would still prefer that to AT.
Truly one my favorite cult car makes, so much better than kit-car-ish anorak one offs like Ariel Atom or Noble. I had the incredible privilege of riding in one in the US, an impossibly imported eggplant 8 cylinder Cerbera circa 2001.
Dude, we watched this show all the time. In fact, the first time I saw Jim Rome, I thought he was intended to be a Lee Horsley rip-off. If you want to see even more 80s awesomeness, watch Horsley's movie Sword and the Sorcerer (it was excellent, we watched it dozens of times on VHS, and had a rocket-powered 3-bladed…
