Parallels is quite idiot proof, but does cost something like $100 So not sure if it’s worth buying for just one use. With parallels you also need to get a windows license. Barring these cost issues it’s very very straightforward to use.

a few notes for those that are wondering, super super easy to get this to work. i even got it up and running on a mac. some tips:

huge difference in effort of hacking it with software (took 4-5 minutes and no guides for a noob like me) and gutting the system, putting in a retropie, configuring it, getting it up and running, etc.
