Maybe this was a little bit of that, and they are brushing it off so they don’t get hit for it?

- The Gorons subsist on rocks and minerals. It’s possible that the “painkillers” had yet to be mined.

FFS, why can’t we all talk politely?

I am going to make both. And then ship them.

I think it still deserves scorn (some more context, like what she made and what she asked for, her duties, etc. would be nice, but I doubt we’ll get that info). Being an asshole engineer doesn’t mean it’s all forgiven when he treats people like an asshole. It just means we know why he’s acting like an asshole

There he is everyone! It’s “that guy”!

He didn’t say no when she asked for a raise. He fired her. That’s not normal.

This is the correct take

Sounds like a typical scientist/engineer. They look at the data (can he function without her) and make a decision based on the data (yes, he can) and people’s feelings don’t matter.

<— Not this guy

I wouldn’t mind it. FF7 was kind of gritty though, cartoon graphics may not have been the best bet. However FF9 would look awesome in this style

I wonder if the people who pleaded for an FF7 remake would’ve preferred this graphical style to the hyper-real version we’re (maybe) eventually going to get.

Splatoon 1 had a point based system. Victories were worth more points but overwhelming popularity could push you over the top if it was a near split like this one.

I’m kinda glad you can’t.

If you can do that then I want to literally be able to boop you mid-pull as Lucio :P

Yeah... no. The old one is blurry and your imagination somehow filled in gaps with artistic reasoning. It didn’t lose any “soul”.

This. Look while there are some perks in older formats they’re outweighed by newer upgrades.

People who prefer the PS2's “quality” visuals are the same people who think VHS offers an experience you can’t get with Blu-ray and that the distortion and low fidelity fuzzing sounds on ancient LP’s are better than than crystal clear audio where you can hear all the instruments.

Jesus. Who’s the child here?

1. I don’t remember clicking Deadspin! Which I only read for terrible soccer coverage.
