I do hope for an eventful year for the Mario cast in general for 2025. The Switch 2 and Mario’s 40th anniversary overlap. Really hoping Nintendo pulled off something special for launch year here.

Let me fantasize for a second here an impossible scenario that won’t come to fruition but at least sounds nice on paper if not a little optimistic.
The emotional whiplash I felt when I saw the initial reveal trailer for Ever Crisis and thought “Is that a FF7 Classic Remake?!” followed by the realization it was a mobile gacha game... Ugh.
I actually did have this thought myself, at least in the case of Charles Martinet. There is so much material of him voicing Mario that they essentially could bottle him and use him forever. Same way you see a lot of those 3D projections of deceased singers still performing. It’s happened before and it will undoubtedly…
It’s seriously depressing how normal this is becoming that it's only inspiring a numb feeling instead of outrage. More workforce cutting to create bigger profits for shareholders. Yippee.
Yaaa... They probably work fast and work cheap over at Outright Games, going by their past releases. Key there being fast. Have to cash in on the TMNT movie success while it is relevant. Otherwise they could have used that same funding on a Shredder’s Revenge movie tie-in DLC. But quality takes time, and that isn't…
I have like nothing of value to add to the conversation, but I am really looking forward to seeing how many people out themselves as bigots even though they know it's bait.
I find women in games all the time! But I also don't act like or advertise myself as a complete dingus.
Is this guy seriously trying to mansplain the entertainment industry to a former professional actress and current celebrity streamer? And to add insult to injury, his word choice gives the image of a cumstain who loiters at a GameStop without buying anything because his mom dropped him off to go grocery shopping.
Ah okay, I misunderstood. That is on me then.
Ya I came down to comments to say exactly this. This is more of a Blizzard problem than a player problem. To make matters worse, no other FPS that I know about that has this game mode does this. You secure the push and then the match ends when it’s clear it’s no longer contested. The devs either need to change it, or…
I’d bet money that the always online requirement is a direct result of what happened to Gotham Knights when the game patched off the DRM by mistake. Suddenly everyone could download it, and it ran better than legally obtained copies.
Ya fuck no.
They named the high schooler, but not the bullies. Fair is fair. Name them and have them own up to the bullshit they spew.
A click AND reader engagement? The guys in metrics are gonna love this.
To be fair, he is saying what a lot of us are thinking but don't want to put ourselves out there to say.
I vastly prefer a list I can look at in pieces during a busy commute or a hectic work day. I suppose I should be concentrating on those things instead of Kotaku but I AM a malcontent. :p
I’m in a weird limbo on this one because I want to download this game and form my own, informed opinion on it, but am also afraid that if I do like it and sink some time into it, it might send the wrong message to Activision-Blizzard about Diablo IV.
I still think about this game from time to time and miss going back to it after a hiatus to just a truck load of content and new characters. Especially toward the end when they were revamping characters to meet the standard of quality they had set. Really underappreciated game.
This whole situation reads so much like a Robot Chicken skit that I somehow am finding it hard to believe this entire thing wasn’t planned from the start. But that might be giving too much credit.
