I think I'd actually go out and preorder MGSV right now if I found out Quiet was the protagonist. I love Snake/Big Boss to death, and I'm excited for the game, but a shake up like that would be unprecedented.

I thought the art looked familiar. Kazerad is also known for a webcomic known as "Prequel" based on the Elder Scrolls Oblivion universe. Really good comic, albeit frustrating at times. It does the suggestion box that Homestuck/MSPA used to do.

Why can't cool stuff like this be done for games? Someone figured out how to make action figures using Kinect 1, now let me be my own game avatar in Kinect 2!

I would say to go give it another try. The game has seen a lot of polish in game mechanics, design, and content. It's had more major patches in less than a year than a lot of free to play titles will get in their lifetime. They have a solid design philosophy that is working, it's just unfortunate marketing decisions

Ya, I agree with you. I bring the prices up front for the sake of transparency.

Y'know, the character by itself is less than even half the price of the premium pack. The pack is for purchasing everything related to the character. The character himself is cheap by comparison.

Deadpool is $15 currently and Squirrel Girl is $9. Both are unlockable by just playing the game, you get "Eternity Splinters" that are used to buy new heroes and cash store items.

I just want to throw this out there now- all of these heroes will be playable without purchase if you are willing to play long enough to unlock the currency needed to purchase them. You can unlock a new character of your own choice every 20 hours or so if I had to hazard the guess. Even less if you don't mind getting

Let me add to those accounts then.

It's more the long term I am looking at. Whenever I look at massively scaled MMO worlds, especially ones with lore and consistency and plans for the long term, I get especially iffy when I look at the specs being limited to a very set standard for a extended amount of time. Everquest has had tons of expansions over

I guess I am in the minority when I say this is bad news. Was hoping for EQ Next to really take advantage of PC hardware and go forward without limitation. And now we hear it is going to be on a console. With a very specific spec sheet it will keep for the next 5-8 years.

Most of these problems you cited have been fixed since the last time you played. I can tell because some of the problems you talked about are so specific to the initial release that they don't even exist anymore. Like the RNG hero drops. They have a currency for buying heroes that drops off trash mobs quite often now.

Conspiracy theory aside and just for the sake of a discussion:

The sequel is fine as a game on it's own, I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Now playing

See? Maybe he really just wants to be our friend, after all. Aw, he has a spoon.

I knew One Piece was a big deal over there, I'm a fan myself, but I totally forgot Japan has like a Hot Topic level of obsession with Disney. They love that mouse over there.

That's assuming SteamOS is just the Steam application in a console skin. In that case you would be absolutely right, it would be less convenient. But apparently, if the press release is to be believed, the SteamOS is supposed to be able to use your hardware more efficiently than Windows would be able to and get more

That's the point. You don't. Most people familiar with this will be content dual booting to SteamOS. For the rest the Steambox will be an option.

Yes.

Glad I'm not the only one who made the connection.
