Interesting. The only SS I've ever driven was at Fremont Chevy sometime last year. They had a few more in stock at the time as well. But I guess not many people in the Bay want an SS- manual or otherwise.

I see Bill Auberlin's listed on the #93 and #94 Turner M3. Though that's the same team so I think that might be permissible.
