Most owner's manuals will state that it is not recommended to run your cordless drill for extended periods of time. I would use a cheap corded one instead.

One reason is likely the difficulty tuning the carbs, and the need for optimal output. The exhaust for the forward half of the engine is longer than the rear half. I'm not 100% sure, but I imagine even the best tuning doesn't result in the optimal output for the engine.
