I with things like this didn’t happen with old games :( I picked up Fallout 3 on the cheap on Steam a few months before Fallout 4 came out, and it was almost unplayable. I mentioned above that I don’t really care about mods, but I will admit that I did use the weather/dungeon lighting ones in Skyrim. It was pretty awesome.

I really don’t care about mods to be honest. And yes, i’ve played games with them. And I game on everything. PC, console, handheld, phone, etc. No bias here.

But then you run into the issue a lot of people have. If you go back and try to play Fallout 3 on a newer PC, it crashes and locks up every few minutes. You pretty much have to get a worse/older PC to play it again. At least on PS3/360, we can just pop it in and it’ll go.

For me it was buy the PS4 version for $60 or spend well more than that to get the PC upgrades i’d need. I opted for the $60 PS4 game. I have bills to pay. And i’m completely happy with it.

Just went to check out Company of Heroes on Steam. Liked what I saw, and was going to add it to my wishlist, but, the Play button was there instead! Apparently it was either free at some point or came in a Humble Bundle. I would have remembered buying it. But I have 2 listed. Company of Heroes and Company Of Heroes…
