This is awesome. Their are plenty of cars from the 90s id do this to. All manufactures should offer some sort of restoration program like BMW does. Id love to have a brand new 91 Talon tsi awd and a brand new 99 Eclipse GSX automatic.

I don't think this is because Mazda, I think its that car. And Mazda gest huge points for doing it, since parts are not just laying around in their shops anymore. But Mazda also gets to see a real world data on how their cars do 20 years down the line.
