Now you See Me 2 (June 10)
Jack Black’s Nacho Grande franchise.
The first movie, in which four magicians outwit everybody and steal from the rich, was an unexpected pleasure.
I saw both Star Wars and The Hateful Eight.
I despised one of these films as a boring, self-indulgent mess.
I don’t think Mr. Jackson would like to know which one.
That would be a luxury to me that I currently can’t afford.
Look at you, Uncle Pennybags
Rocky Horror without the audience participation is not much fun.
Rocky Horror Picture Show doesn’t need a remake
? Who said it would be serious and non comedic?
Blue Origin goes straight up, and comes straight down. It has no payload other than a capsule that is designed to carry a few hundred pounds worth of human flesh. In it’s current form, it is not capable of propelling anything into actual orbit. It’s essentially a rocket built to allow rich people to sky dive without…
Blue Origin reached the edge of space in the same way pogo sticks reach the edge of flight.
I think the reason people are saying Falcon 9 qualifies “over” New Shepard is that the “rocket” in the case of the overall “historic first” is referring to the whole rocket craft, but “rocket” in the case of the reusable landing is only referring to the stage 1 portion of the craft.
Star Wars needs central characters without Force sensitivity. That’s kind of why the prequels were so ridiculous. The first trilogy barely used the Force, but the prequels everyone was using it all the time.
This. Every time we find out that one of the main characters is unexpectedly related to one of the other main characters, it makes the universe smaller and less believable.
My rationalizing of it is that she was so confident in The First Order that she believed even with the shields down, the Resistance could never actually destroy the base. It’s the same kind of hubris that Tarkin showed in A New Hope.
“Again, unclear. We just know she’s very strong with the Force. In a flashback, we see young Rey being placed on Jakku by someone with a sinister voice”...
What is Rey’s background?
“He was incredibly sweet and handsome, and all that stuff. Then he rode off on his motorcycle. Literally the coolest voice over actor ever.”
