This is the right answer, and it was explained in a deleted scene.

It’s not mentioned in RotJ, but it is mentioned in other canon media (at least it was before the Disney buyout. not sure if it still applies after).

My brain is hurting trying to flip my perspective. O_O
Reminds me of this:

Unless I’m seeing this picture totally wrong, the sunlight is coming from the right, not the left.

Sophie Turner’s American accent is unconvincing.

As others have already pointed out, non-Force users can turn them on and use them. But it is commonly agreed that Force users are the ones that can use them the most effectively. And so far we have no reason to believe Finn uses the saber effectively. I’m betting he gets his ass handed to him.

I actually doubt Finn will take the Jedi path. I think he may just be holding onto the lightsaber for a chunk of the movie as they attempt to deliver it to someone (Leia?), and only uses it when Kylo is coming right at him, or at other life and death moments.

...I don’t think Aurelius Robles was disagreeing with you. Cool your jets.

As early as 7pm, actually.

The implication there is that, at some point, Rey and Kylo Ren will engage in a lightsaber duel.

What stores are you shopping at? I see them all over the place. Maybe they’re being bought up by other girls!

The Illusionist and The Prestige don’t have the same plot. They both involve magicians, and therefore misdirection. That’s about it.

I chalked that up to the fact that we’re seeing Freeze from a lower angle, but maybe you’re right.

Look at the arch of the nose bridge portion, and the slots around the edges of the lenses. They’re the exact same glasses.

Good point! I’d be fine with a huge epic film of the Silmarillion if he were extremely prepared for it before filming, and if he put the same level of effort into practical effects as he did in LotR.

Silmarillion movie confirmed!!!
Ugh, I just gave myself nightmares.

He’s not preventing the helicopter from taking off. He’s preventing it from pulling away. If most of the chopper’s power is going into keeping it airborne, then only a fraction of it is required to bank it left and pull away from the roof. It is only that fraction of the power that Cap has to counteract. If the

The characters are in the perfect position to take the stances they are. Tony’s character arc has been realizing that he needs to take responsibility for his actions. Cap’s arc has him growing less and less trusting of governmental oversight.

It still bugs the hell out of me that she hasn’t bothered to learn to hold a bow correctly.
