You win the internet today. ALL OF IT.

I agree. At the time, I told roommate "she did you a SOLID by not only being honest with you, but thwarting this guy's advances to spare your feelings. Get over it!"

Because most people aren't so introspective-especially in their teens.

And the chugging of the beer. Yumtastic.

Why thank you! I've seen my friends go through this. My roommate in college liked this guy, but the guy liked my other friend. Other friend TOLD roommate about this and refused the date (even though she liked him), and roommate got all sorts of pissed. It was pretty stupid. As long as we are all honest with each

I too get that feeling.

YES. Know your audience.

Sorry that I enjoy talking about my "feeeeeeeeeeelings," going shopping, drinking beer, and playing Tetris. I must be INSUFFERABLE.

Personally, I'd hope that my friend would ask me if she could pursue a relationship with a guy that didn't want to date me. It would be hard at first, but the honesty would make it easier. Plus I don't want to be the one who stands in the way of my friend's happiness.

I'm so with you! Any nominee on either side of the aisle should be forbidden form doing so. I'm all for getting out there to talk about your causes and your politics, but pandering for my vote will only make me loathe you.

I find him ridiculously attractive. He seems like he knows how to have a good time. And I do love me some Coldplay.

He really is. Hubba hubba.

Personally, I don't understand presidents or presidential nominees trying to be a part of "celebrity" culture. Obama and Palin are tied for the worst (Palin may have a slight edge, as her star-grubbing is trashy as hell). I don't want to see my nominees hanging out on Leno's couch (or any other Late Night host for
