Whoa! That's pretty messed up.
Whoa! That's pretty messed up.
My brother and I are VERY different people and frequently butt heads, but I love him to death. I can't imagine my life without him. And he frequently tells me the same thing.
I'm not an only child, and I don't like to watch films I'm not crazy about.
No need for me to post my thoughts, because you already said them. Get out of my brain!
"My mom does fret over leaving me as the sole individual responsible for their care when they age, but I'm so grateful for all they've done for me that I will consider it an absolute privilege to take care of my parents in their twilight."
How funny. My mom said my older brother was such a trouble maker and sucked up all of her energy. Apparently you could sit me in a swing chair for an hour at a time, and I wouldn't make a peep. Didn't have problems sleeping or feeding.
I hope so too. I'm with you on the fact that prison will likely not change a thing. And that's really sad for her and her little girl.
Hot damn! You go!
I'm the same way. I"m not a good student, but I'm a quick learner out in the "real world." But I do miss the diversity college offers. You got to try new stuff every few months!
In my experience, I was not prepared for all of the changes that inevitably occur around the college years.
At my school, take home finals were some of the hardest.
Isn't college the time where people notoriously can weight? I know I did! Too much booze/drunken munchies, not enough exercise and healthy meals.
I agree about MTV not following her around: they should have let her be while she was at rehab. I know I wouldn't want my arguably most profound and painful moments captured to have the whole world to see. And I don't want to put words in your mouth, but it sounds like you and I both agree that addicts can't get sober…
From what I understand, she was offered the rehab program first, and dropped out of her own accord. She then requested her original sentence.
That was a violation of her probation for physically assaulting her partner in front of her child. As the article states, she either had a choice to do a certain amount of time in rehab (can anyone back up how long it was?) or spend five years in prison. She tried rehab, and then requested prison.
Does Intervention help cover rehab expenses? DO the people on camera get paid? I don't know how that show works in those terms.
It's a docu-drama, so the camera crew are discouraged from intervening when stuff like this happens (which in my opinion, is a HUGE problem with this show).
"It's like dating George Clooney and acting genuinely upset when he breaks up with you after two years instead of proposing."
Me too! I loved her show.
OMG this is amazing. I'm cackling away over here.
