I’ve bleeped out everything you just said for my own sanity.

Other pieces have been written, explaining that preliminary injunctions are rarely, rarely granted. The first Jezebel article failed to even use the word “preliminary”.

I, while old and uncool, actually think this is really adorable. Teens messing around/teasing while being nice and having everyone enjoy themselves is a nice thing to see get a little Internet popularity. I’ve worked with teens and they are weird as Fuck, so while I don’t GET this, I do sort of appreciate it and think

If someone who fits the profile of an abuser (has power over many women, hides from the public eye, has clear arrogance and self-aggrandization issues, etc) is accused of raping someone and then threatening to destroy their career (which he absolutely had the power to do) in order to coerce them to lie, the fact that

I honestly don’t get what Sony’s end game is here. I understand their financial stake in this very successful producer, and in holding artists to contracts, but this is beyond messy. Are they hoping to permanently bar Kesha from making music and making her an example? Do they seriously think Kesha and Luke will have

“Does it seem outrageous? Or is it outrageous?”

Ivanka’s participation in this whole debacle only further convinces me that Trump’s candidacy is a branding exercise that has gone way, way too far.

The Internet is TOTALLY qualified to diagnose things. Just look at Fitbit baby. So let’s play what do I have:

Yeah, the Revenant looks awful. But it’ll probably win everything because why the fuck not. The Academy Awards are like the Who’s Line Is It Anyway of award shows; the points don’t matter and the answers are made up.

I kind of want Leo to win just so he can stop doing the Oscar bait movies and maybe do a comedy or something.

I will continue to live in my liking Atticus bubble pretending that second book does not exist.

(I miss the days when we still liked Atticus)

This. But also, why is this story suddenly about who didn’t post on twitter about it? Aren’t we shifting the narrative here?

Aaaand...just when you think that you’ve seen it all...the world invents more plastic crap to buy.

Unpopular opinion but I think it’s valid complaint. A lot of these “girl power” artists use it only to further themselves and their own careers but remain silent during the trials of others.

This tweet about Dr. Luke is my personal favorite. Especially considering Dr. Luke was one of the producers on her breakout Since U Been Gone:

I’d like to pay attention to the Kesha situation but I’m busy listening to the head of the RIAA lecture the public about how lousy fans treat artists.

If you could afford to buy a house at 22, you’re not “middle class”.
