Repeating my response to dollyrkr here, since she has responded to anyone who doesn't think Anonymous are perfect angels who must never, ever be criticized, no matter how horrible or misogynistic their actions, by screaming at them, calling them trolls, and then deleting their comments:

Don't go chasing butterflies

Faith, love and hop. And the greatest of these is hop. So they'd hop everywhere. Soup night was the worst.

This pre-show is annoying and pointless. But I have cookies, and I won't share them with the twits on my screen.

Reposting my comment in response to you, since dollyrkr, rather unsurprisingly, deleted it:

You delete everyone's opinions that disagree with you, call everyone with a valid counterpart a negative troll, celebrate the victimizing of a person, all while shouting in caps lock.

Just because some guys start doing something nice under the name The Nazis doesn't mean you get to make statements like "Man, The Nazis are so goddamned awesome" without being called out by people who still remember the REAL Nazis.

Maybe. Or maybe you're unwilling to admit that you write things without thinking and, as a result, make mistakes.

Thank you. Just, thank you. I haven't been trying to take away the good these particular people did. It's incredible and I hope that's a trend that continues. But Anon has the potential for both awesome good and incredibly bad, and due to the fact that they don't exactly have a membership roster, can be both at the

It's like, so hard to read stuff and listen to science, am I right?

Nope. I had abusive parents, and was made fun of for being poor. A lot.

I hope she replies again just so I can point out I just saw a thread on /b/ of an Anon posting pictures of a girl seemingly without her consent and linking to her Facebook and calling her a slut and a whore and people replying calling her a slut and a whore. Because Anonymous are always on the right side of this

YMBW - literally making my first ever Jezebel/Gawker post (I find the comment format confusing...) to say I'm sorry that some people are so obsessed with heroism that they failing to even comprehend your post. While I respect the work of Anonymous recently, it is of no surprise to me that members of the organization

I know people have strong reactions on this site (and the Internet, for that matter), so it pays to be clear and precise if you don't want to spend time in back-and-forths, no?

Sigh. Really? I'm a "jezebel crazy" because I argued that psychological studies actually contradict what "Oprah and countless other empathic people have said"? And I'm "chomping at the bit to attack someone" because I pointed out that this particular myth is deeply harmful to adult survivors of abuse?

That shit is so funny, but NOT, because there's way too much truth to it.

(Hey! I posted this as its own comment, but then I remembered I'm in the gray and probably won't be seen unless I reply to another comment)

I take issue with your use of the word "just" to describe this kind of verbal abuse but that's what I was wondering. Whether it's psychological torture or there is a realistic expectation of violence. Based on what I'm reading it sounds like not, which is comforting.

Anonymous is a completely decentralized, self-organizing identity that can be adopted by literally anyone, any time, for any reason. It's a powerful model for organized activism and terrorism, individual activity, or virtual lynch mobs. For this reason, any attempt to characterize Anonymous outside of any particular

Charlotte Laws wins most amazing woman of the year hands down. Also most badass mom ever in the history of the world. She is just covered in awesome.
