It's a 3 liter motor, I highly doubt that ALL of the power is at peak rpm. Torque!! :-)

I swear, I was going to ask if anyone else sees that. It's that damn trunk lid and almost-flat rear end, at least it has an aggressive look.

Thanks a lot!!! Thanks for the responses everyone.

Could someone please explain the torque rating thing for the 3rd gen Supra.

That is a funny story, but it also goes to show which bike he really wanted to ride, especially knowing that the Harley would start with no probs.

Oh, damn. I guess I'm a Gaijin.

LOL. We're not even on the subject of street racing. You also have it backwards, people start off street racing and then move on to track racing, not the other way around. Do you think that most pro racers were pros all their lives, do you think that they only practiced on a track or closed course? I'd say a healthy

If it the original post was said in that perspective then okay, it just seemed as if he made "retards" and "skylines" one in the same.

I believe that it's sitting on the rocker panel, a rwd car could have reverse just as easily there as an awd.

Reaching a little far to make the Ferrari/Fire connection, aren't we. I'm sorry but it's very tired.

What does he and his car have to do with you. He's on different continent than you, driving a car that wasn't even available here. Let me guess, you're not a GTR fan.

How about a short explanation of how it works?

Yeah, I didn't see anything that impressive. Just a lot of understeer.

A turbo engine is used for its efficiency, light weight, and compact size.

Nice.

Huh? Besides the Aston, all those cars are more complicated than a RWD, front-engined car. You're naming completly random sports cars. I never said that a great car can't be had for $100,000, I never said the LFA was the epitome of sports cars or anything like that, so your response befuddles me. You must have

What are you saying? The LFA doesn't share its platform with anything else. Neither does the FRS. Don't worry about what "everyone" is saying, just look it up for yourself.

How are those cars even remotely similar to the LFA, because they're RWD? Also, 1/4 of the price of the LFA is about $100,000.

A mini LFA sounds cool, but what would it really consist of. Once you take away that expensive V10 and carbon fiber, what's left? (and I'm a huge LFA fan)

That 46 hp is rather low for a 1.2 liter motor.
