The launch control system seems to hinder hard launches at this level, it doesn't launch nearly as aggressive as a 10 sec RWD car. That makes it even more amazing that it can coast out of the gate, then nail it and still dip below 9 sec.

@mikeado... incorrect. The 2010 GTR didnt have launch control and then LC came back in 2011, although it wasn't technically called launch control it in fact was, and they also managed to improve the LC software and make the car quicker to 60 (please excuse the run on sentence).
