Ehhh. Considering how many people purposefully eat no (or very little) fast food it's still statistically concerning. Also the survey was self-reported. The actual percentage is probably higher.

PS- Just to be clear I'm not trying to shame anyone who eats BK salads. It's up to each person what they put in their body. Plus if you don't eat them constantly they could certainly be a splurg in an otherwise healthy diet.

If you live in an area that isn't economically disadvantaged, healthy eating isn't prohibitively expensive or time consuming.

I would wager that most of the increase you see in use is because it's more accessible when needed, not because people are making decisions that cause it to be needed more.
