If she were just complaining about lateness and didn't mention that the patient had previously experienced a stillbirth delivery I would agree with you.

In the OP's second comment she says the reason she's putting up with this patient is because she had a prior stillbirth
In Donna Langley's case black was not a safe bet. She looks like she raided Professor McGonagall's wardrobe.
So your proof is an assumption based on no proof?
... Funtime flaps?
Bunnies?
The combined smell of shitty diaper and regurgitated milk is pretty noxious, but I don't think the addition of perfume is going to help matters.
Maybe it's just the passion behind the violence.
And pie.
There's another way to live?
Nope. Cats.
Aw boo. Now I'm weird all by myself.
... What kind of crazypants women have you been dating?
Eh I like being choked too. You don't need an intervention, you need an open partner and a safe word, or in this case hand gesture ;)
The reason why I'd be more concerned about her is because (as far as we know) she is the only child engage in these behaviors more than once and with more than one other individual.
I'm so sorry that happened to you and wish you all the best.
I completely agree that none of these children should be shamed. I just would also hope that they each be interviewed by a child psychologist who would be able to determine if there is any reason to suspect that they are being harmed.
I'm just glad we were never "caught" by people who would lead us to believe we'd done a terrible thing, like these poor children.
It's not so much that I'm assuming that she's been abused as it's that I'm very concerned about the possibility. Her behavior is very common for a child who is the victim of sexual abuse and less typical for a child discovering sexual behaviors on their own.
