If you've lived together for a while getting married changes very little.

That is really not an okay thing for your mother to say to you. I don't know what would possess her to say something that negative and mean to her own child, but I can pretty much guarantee that what ever it is has everything to do with her own basket of issues and nothing to do with you.
Ahh! That one's perfect!
Spot on.
An injustice is an injustice, whether it is predictable or not. And permissive "What did she expect?" attitudes only serve to ensure their continued existence.
She might win too. The Academy is incomprehensibly smitten with that movie. Bradley Cooper was really good. The rest of the performances were "meh" and the plot was a train wreck.
Bingo.
Hahaha very true.
... you do realize the actress in this spoof isn't Anne Hathaway?
I thought Anne Hathaway's performance was fucking awesome. I agree about the direction though. I'm a big Hooper fan and I thought he got some great performances, but there were too many close shots for me.. especially in Val Jean's soliloque. It didn't bother me as much in "I Dreamed a Dream," but it was stil an issue.
I am aware of that. Which is why I used the phrase "reduces" not "prevents."
Yep. Cosigned.

Never swallow on an empty stomach.
No I think they're the exhausted people with small children and playdough caked in their hair.
Married people.
That is so bizarre.
That is exactly the sort of self-definition I think we should embrace. At least until we can start to let go of the whole concept.
You have read way more into my comment than was there.
OK if you're going to curse at me and be hostile then I'm going to end this conversation.
