Gas, Grass, or Grasp.
Gas, Grass, or Grasp.
Yeah.... nope. It came across as an attempt at a not-really-a-joke joke, of the “I don’t meant it except I sorta do” school of child clever. Car thieves in my ‘hood (and theirs, and yours) tend to drive it like they stole it, and like they don’t pay for insurance, and like they’re judgement proof, and sometimes like…
The most concerning thing is that it looks like Toyota is losing market share to Ford.
Well mot really. KSA is probably the single biggest investor in US equity. KSA is probably the single biggest client for US hardware. KSA is one of the most reliable (if embarrassing, but that is nothing new....countries have interests, not friends) ally in the middle east. And KSA is probably the closest thing to a…
Conflicts aside, this thing is pretty bitchin
Cue the Denis Leary voice over “You want Super Duty? The only truck with high grade military steel. It’s not just tough pal, it’s Ford tough!”
We need clicks! Without the money from these clicks we wouldn’t be able to fund the groundbreaking reporting on how Liam Hemsworth is feeling. And the clicks from that article are used to fund this article! See? Capitalism!
Stop it. Stop attacking women for having opinions, speaking out, and trying to make things better. What the hell happened to Jezebel? I’ve been around here for years, and recently the rhetoric has just become so hateful and isolating. This is ridiculous.
The worldwide trend is reducing emissions. https://theicct.org/publications/china%e2%80%99s-stage-vi-emissions-standard-heavy-duty-vehicles-final-rule
Dude, you should’ve seen it in the late 70's/early 80's — The sky was orange and brown, all the time. If CA hadn’t enacted their rules, and if other states hadn’t joined, the deaths from pollution in this country would be goddamn unimaginable.
I think you and I have talked about this before, but I remember growing up in the 90's (at this point, it was better than the previous two decades) and Corona, the Valley, LA were smog filled pools of hell. My mom couldn’t visit her friend in Pomona on certain days because the air quality was so poor.
So the average US car price as of Jan 2018 is $36,270. Is it reasonable to assume that 8% of that cost is due to higher emissions standards in the California market? This 2004 article argues that car prices are about $1000 higher due to California emissions standards (median car prices have about doubled since then) -
Only counts when you want to own other people.
People like to think that California is this all-powerful, Liberal-Elitist, cesspool that just wants to inflict their vindictive will upon everyone else.
Environment ruined, EPA now Economic Protection Agency
thanks in part to the EPA allegedly struggling to justify the move with data,
One of the more recently figured out aspects of moon dust is that UV light creates electrostatically levitated space dust.
You gotta romance a woman like the Crushinator.
Deploying the Crushinator might help with that pirate problem.
