This is pretty much how I would be, though I've got a couple of years before I'm 10 years out of high school. If you're really nosy couldn't you just facebook stalk them? I know I can't, I didn't add most people from highschool specifically because I don't want them to know how unsuccessful I have been since leaving.
Thanks! Unfortunately the whole thing is based on obfuscating how boring I really am, so few pictures of me actually doing stuff. I've actually asked my friends to take more pictures when we next go out since it's not something we normally do in my social circle. Whether there will be any where I look like a living…
Hmm, thanks, the Santa pic was taken by a professional photographer at a party, which is why the quality is better. I'm aware it has a limited shelf-life though.
OK, this might be a big mistake but... any Jezzies on OKCupid who want to critique a poor incompetent's profile? I really have no idea what I'm doing and would appreciate any feedback, however critical.
Haven't you answered your own question then? People think it won't be very hard because they lie to themselves, either about how much they're eating or how much effort they would put in. I would argue it's the same with exercise, which is what I originally posted about. If people actually worked out how many calories…
Yeah, I'm pretty much basing what I said on having just read this:
I'm fairly sure it's been found that purely in terms of weight loss exercise doesn't have that much impact. It does make you healthier, but not lose weight (much). Really, I wonder if that's part of why people find losing weight so difficult (including me). We exercise a lot and wonder why we're not losing it, then…
For the second time: "Ignore the holier than thou attitude from those who would be seeing things a whole lot differently if it was one of their loved ones."
The actual animated bit seemed to be 35 seconds, which is presumably the criteria they would be marked on, so not too bad.
You're missing the point, which is that bullying is so much less terrible than this. If people over react when their loved ones are hurt in even minor ways then how would they react in this case? Perhaps the victim's family would want the rapists' wives and sisters and daughters to be raped so they can know what it's…
I just saw a documentary today on Al-Jazeera about a plastic surgery unit which provided 6 years of free care to another kid with half his face missing. So, there's a chance I guess.
Hah! It might mean you're skipping the sex-based questions. I know I've started doing that so I won't have to lie, but I'm wondering if it's actually tracking that. Or maybe I'm getting paranoid.
"who would be seeing things a whole lot differently if it was one of their loved ones."
Totally made me think of this.
I believe the US specifically passed laws to protect themselves against libel tourism, especially from my own Britain's awful libel laws. So gawker media is probably fine.
It's good advice. Various times I've heard people say "the hardest part is admitting you have a problem". Of course it's bullshit, the hardest part is actually doing something about your problems. Putting people's good advice into practice is the real challenge.
Hah.
Well, hopefully everyone else thinks they're totally inaccurate too, since the issue with mine is that it's dead on but I don't want people to know that...
Remember those kids who got suspended for folding paper into an L shape and holding it like a gun? That must suck for proud little Floridians.
