Yeah, I get it. The most weepy part is usually when they’re in the trench, they’ve got their orders, they’re scared, and they’re bucking each other up to go over the top and charge. It is always incredibly, unbearably sad.

Also (not to excuse any of the other shit he spent 75 million dollars on), I think the 3 million dollar tab was for arranging the canon, inviting Hunters’ many friends to come, and entertaining them during a blow-out celebration. I don’t think the canon cost 3 million dollars on its own.

Good grief. Even on my worst “I-hate-my-curly-hair” days, I don’t want hair like hers in that photo. :(
