Not that I disagree with you, by Skyward Sword does look pretty bad. I play it because I love me some Zelda, and gameplay is definitely the most important thing, but these pixelated edges are honestly substandard.

Approval system isn't working, let's try a comment.

So far it's painfully immersion breaking. I want to like this game, but I find I'm spending more of my time being very aware of how much I dislike the controller.

I've only played to the end of the first dungeon, but the motion plus controls are driving me mad. The one thing the Wii controller managed to do well was act as a pointer, why has motion plus seemingly destroyed this capability? You need to recentre the thing constantly. At first I thought it was maybe my new

You gave the same model two different scores. Clearly we need a more rigorous ranking system for these events.

I've been talking about wanting this in Canada for ages now. Three parties don't work with first-past-the-post, and a "majority" government receiving 34% of the votes does not work with Stephen Harper in the race.

I'm in for Friday til Sunday, no actual down time yet. I managed to log in long enough to confirm and download the client before the site went down again ^.^

Has anyone been able to confirm their Old Republic invite for this weekend? Clicking on the big "RESPOND NOW!" tells me the site is under scheduled maintenance. I want to confirrrmmmmmm

I agree with you as far as the first playthrough goes. Once you know where you're heading and you've explored all the islands though, it's hard not to find it tedious. I'd love to play a Master Quest style remake with the oceans a little more fleshed out.

I wasn't planning on playing Skyrim, and I've been itching for a game to occupy me until Skyward Sword. This beta invite came at exactly the perfect time.

So you can call people with a 15 digit friend code, and get a spotty connection?

This article completely misses the point. A tactile response is necessary for tools and interacting with objects, sure; but this video's vision of the future is about display interfaces. Notice that car doors still have handles; the fridge is manually opened; the only real computer terminal shown still uses a

Slightly more complex, but now most of the puzzles solve themselves.

These helper features would be an excellent excuse for Nintendo to start making their games a little more challenging again. The fact that the games are still increasingly simple plus these hand holding gimmicks is really pushing me towards leaving Nintendo behind permanently.

It's okay. I try to pretend Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks never happened too.

My hate for Nintendo really started to kick in With Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros Brawl, when Nintendo started adding elements that actively punish competitive gameplay. SSB was one of my all time favourite series. Then they slowed it down, made everyone float, made it easier to return to stages, removed

WW was the last great Zelda game IMO. It seems like every title since has been trying to rehash (cash in) on the success of WW and OoT. Majora's Mask and Wind Waker were great because they played like Zelda, but in new settings with some new mechanics. They're my two favourites in the series.

We used to have two great little movie theatres in my city. Both were close to coffee shops, one of which was our usual hangout downtown. It was such a common Friday night to go hang out chatting with friends over a cappuccino, and then walk up the street to see a movie for $5. Both of these theatres have since

Well said. Pet peeve averted.

I don't take issue with people cosplaying a character of a different gender. I just don't see why it happens with Link so much more often.
