"everyone else in this week's gallery is rocking a female character."

I dusted off the Wii to check out the new Kirby today (just kidding, I left the dust there). Does this game ever get remotely challenging? I've never been so bored.

...Why do you need to be six to eight feet away?

It goes beyond the content itself, and factors into my opinion of the company releasing it. I want to support companies that make good games, and seem to value their fans and the community they've helped create. Today's news had Gearbox offering a good example of this: with Claptrap's eulogy for one of their fans.

In the good old days, developers releasing extra content for a game was a sign of supporting their product; of maintaining their title by expanding on its initial success. They were called expansions: updating a popular game without the full cost or development time of a full sequel. DLC expanded on this practice,

"Sometimes, even if you feel like the whole world is against you, you just have to take it on the chin and let it go. Before you start sounding a little crazy. This is one of those times."

I usually argue the opposite side of this statement, but in this particular case I have to blame the media. There is an ever increasing trend of using shocking headlines to bring in hits. The only times major media wants to give any attention to science is for these counter-intuitive studies, which are far too often

Sounds like the makings of a handy AI interface

I loved the original, and I think that helped make the sequels even more disappointing. I want to be excited for this. I am going to watch this. I am fairly certain I'm not going to enjoy this.

You missed the fact that the sequels were just terrible.

Tell that to every game that makes you complete a playthrough before the difficult setting unlocks.

I'll second this. Paint.NET is a great program. Lots of websites and youtube videos discuss it directly, it has many features common to Photoshop, and you can install plugins to expand its functionality. A wonderful (free) program that everyone should check out.

Vampires are intelligent and immortal, zombies are very much rotting corpses. You raise a valid point, but this really is way worse.

Gotta draw the line somewhere.

Now that you've improved your photoshop skills, I think your next project should be figuring out why you drew your tetris lines with 5 blocks :P

What would be the point of that though? I guess removing the blood would make it harder to determine time of death, but I don't see how that would help them get away with the murder.

I fail to see how posting this story is "potentially hazardous". What practical effect could a killer accomplish using this phenomenon?

I personally disagree with a number of those being worthwhile, and I wouldn't typically cite ports from other systems, but I appreciate your response. I'm honestly happy for you getting so much more enjoyment out of your Wii than I do.

I'm not saying losses on hardware is necessarily a bad thing, and worthwhile software is exactly my gripe with the Wii. The fact that part of the sales figures are due to replacements supports my point: number of consoles sold is not an informative figure.

Please do. This I have to see
