This weeks experiment

They've done a good job building up the relationship, and this latest episode had it nicely defined. V's point seems somewhat valid however, if you remember Amy running away and trying to kiss the Doctor the night before her wedding.

Those are reasonable, valid points; but it's really not the way they've presented this story arc. On Demon's Run Amy and Rory were very distraught, to the extent of pointing a gun at River demanding solutions. I would happily accept your points if they had even a single scene mentioning them. Not even mentioning their

They mentioned it was some sort of time "compression". That's why Amy wasn't hungry after a week. Whether you want to accept the premise or not is up to you, but the whole point of slowing down time was so that people with this 24-hour virus could still live a life.

I think this week I'll make a star wars + duck hunt shop.

I've been commenting here for a long time. At first, I nearly gave up and abandoned the site altogether; it took an absurd amount of time for my comments to even become approved. Since then it increasingly seems like stars just aren't given out.

That's precisely the fallacious argument I'm referring to. Obviously if everyone bought new the developers would get more money. You don't need to spell out the math (twice?) to make that clear.

I don't want every game to be a multiplayer sequel, obviously. I think a good way to paraphrase your statement would be "games will always have used sales, accept it".

@Enigma

I've heard nothing but good things about Acanac. Definitely shopping there when I move

I dunno, the rest of us find it pretty weird that you're so okay with the state of your education, healthcare, and economy....

General consensus is that there is no difference. If you're using a big 50-foot cable of something you could justify a more expensive cable, but that's usually just because it may be more durable.

I hope Rory stays dead.

Did I miss something in the video, or are your headlines lying to me again?

Jonathan Blow's personality has nothing to do with me. I'm happy to play Braid regardless. It's when you get a personality making harmful decisions that do affect the consumer where we run into problems. I'm all for hating on Activision/Kotick/etc

I played it on the 360. Visually it still looked great. When it launched there were a ton of 360/PS3 comparisons, and there never really seemed to be much difference.

Oh I've already moved past it, I'll definitely finish the game. It's just a case of DE being (at the time) no longer fun, as opposed to DNF being pretty consistent.

A new SSB calldown item I think?

Last night I had to walk away from Deus Ex after the fight with Barrett. Penny Arcade's comic this week summed it up nicely. I built my character for stealth, and then the game forced a fight and very much stopped being fun.

So, like many of you, I've been playing Deus Ex this weekend. I'm loving it, but I find it keeps reminding me, over and over, of Duke Nukem Forever.
