I've heard people complaining about repetitive typing and making jokes about being too lazy to push keys, but I can honestly say outside of gaming that programmable keys, or macro keys are absolutely useful.

Here is a hint for people using Comcast. Going to speed test is a waste of time. Why? Because their servers cache the site for the powerboost "feature". You will always get numbers that are no where close to your actual number.
