@thnikkamax: I agree with you. I own a touch, an Iphone (no longer connected and used for e-books now) and I play with my girlfriend's iPad. However for doing work I other use my Macbook or one of my PCs depending on the systems I need to connect to or the work I do.

I find it funny that a majority of the people are looking for little things to bash the slate in its comparison with the Ipad. Yes the pinch/zoom features could use alot of work, however I would prefer this over an Ipad for three reasons.

Part of this statement is true, the other part is false. The biggest problem that the UAE have with RIM is that they can not easily monitor the transmissions by these devices making it virtually impossible for governments to monitor the content for politically or morally objectionable material.

@Garion: Pretty much what I have been using for a touch pad on my MBP for about 6 months now. Works just like the touch pad on the laptop, with the exception of every once in a while it gets too sensitive.

While I have to say that the touchpad is probably one of the nicest features to come from Apple in terms of innovation, I am wondering how this will stack up next to my Wacom.
